Coastline Rentals has been managing Long Term rental properties on and around Hilton Head Island for over 20 years. While the great majority of our rentals are on Hilton Head Island we have branched out into the Bluffton area just over the bridge to the island. Our inventory of long term rentals range from efficiency apartments to three and four bedroom homes. The inventory changes rapidly sometimes and we do our best to update the listings to make them as accurate as possible.

The long term rental market in the Hilton Head area is unique in the fact that there are many housing complexes to choose from but they are almost exclusively condominiums. Almost all of the original apartments have been converted to condos and as such the on-site offices have been eliminated. The owners of these long term rental properties may choose any of the two dozen or so long term rental companies to represent them and market their property.

The long term rental market is similar to the vacation rentals in that they are in all areas of Hilton Head Island. The gated communities of Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes and Shipyard offer both types of rental properties as well as the non-gated areas of North and South Forest beach and Folly Field. The long term properties in these areas are generally not on the beach but can be a short walk away.
