Meet the Team
Coastline Rentals is a new name for a long established, successful Calabash real estate company started in 1985 under the name of Walters Realty. In 2014, owners Eddie and Carol Walters merged their businesses into Sunset Properties and became managing partners. While maintaining their existing business operations, they managed every facet of operations in the vacation rental management of over 350 homes and condos on the islands of Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach.
After a brief three year retirement, Eddie and Carol are embarking on a new chapter of business life. They acquired the long term rental business from Sunset Properties to independently focus on this segment of property management, hence the name change from Walters Realty to Coastline Rentals.
In 2014, Eddie and Carol were ready for a new venture and became managing partners of Sunset Properties, merging their sales and long term rental business into Sunset Properties along with managing over 350 vacation rental homes and condos on the islands of Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach. In our new chapter of life, Eddie and Carol are excited to welcome their son-in-law, Sam Brooks, to Coastline Rentals and refocus exclusively on residential rentals and sales.
Following his military service and B.S. in Accounting from N.C. State, Sam has spent over 8 years in the property management industry. With experience at one of the nation's leading multifamily and student housing property management companies, Sam offers deep industry knowledge and a strong understanding of the need for efficient, effective property management from both owner and tenant perspectives.
With 40 years of real estate experience in the Calabash, Sunset, and Ocean Isle markets, Eddie brings unmatched expertise in local real estate transactions and property management. As a licensed general contractor, Eddie has also built new homes and completed remodels. His vast knowledge base in sales, rentals, construction and management brings an invaluable perspective.
With over 35 years of real estate experience in the South Brunswick Islands, Carol has maintained an integral role in the business development, software management, marketing and accounting aspects of the real estate industry. Her contributions to ensuring seamless operations along with her dedication to meeting the demands of industry changes mark her leadership in real estate
